Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Home Comfort Advisor to join our sales team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for homeowners seeking HVAC solutions. Your goal will be to assess customer needs, recommend appropriate systems and services, and close sales to meet company targets. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by helping customers improve their home comfort while also contributing to the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Consultations: Conduct in-home consultations to understand customer needs, evaluate their current HVAC systems, and recommend tailored solutions that align with their comfort preferences and budget.
- Sales Presentations: Present and explain HVAC system options, including features, benefits, and costs, to help customers make informed decisions. Provide clear, concise, and compelling proposals.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Follow-Up: Proactively follow up with potential customers to answer questions, address concerns, and close sales. Maintain communication with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Track and report on sales activities and outcomes using Service Titan software.
- Product Knowledge: Stay current on HVAC products, services, and industry trends to effectively advise customers. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the installation and service teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other sales team members to share best practices and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the HVAC industry or a related field. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to quickly learn about new products and technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a way that is easy for customers to understand.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping people improve their home comfort.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-Motivated: Highly motivated with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for in-home consultations.
- Clean Background: No criminal record or legal issues that would raise concerns during background checks.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field or technical certification in HVAC is a plus.
